Called in for a drink after hearing the Travellers Rest is under new management. We were not disappointed and stayed for a meal as well. Relaxed establishment and very helpful friendly staff. The menu is all locally sourced. Excellent food with good choice for everyone. We will return

Warm welcome and incredible food!
Just popped in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime. Homemade soup and a warm roll, steak ciabatta and chunky chips. And not forgetting 2 pork sausages for our dog!
Lovely welcome and outstanding food. This is our 4th visit since the new owners took over and the food has been incredible. Definitely worth another visit if you have not been here for a while!
